My name is LordAlex Leon, back in year 1998, I came across a nice little plug-in called Flash, little I knew this would completely change my life. Since that moment I primarily make a living at consulting and helping companies/startups deliver intelligent rich internet content and powerful applications based on the Adobe Flash Platform. I founded my own consulting company LordAlex Works and enjoy speaking at many international conferences and events whenever I can.

My own PSP Flash Mini Portal in 15 minutes... sweet!

Time is something I'm lacking these days, but I created my own mini portal in 15 minutes all in Flash today for my PSP with some of my favorite links (nothing fancy of course).

I will be progressively playing with the page and adding animations and more interesting features in my spare time during the next few weeks. So far, I am pretty excited about it, even if it only is the Flash Player 6, still really cool.

Point your PSP to the following page: http://www.lordalex.org/psp

Fonts actually look sharper on the PSP screen.

Stay tuned…

Your kidding me. That's all you've done with it thus far. Is it really THAT bad?! What the hell was sony thinking. They really need to get their act together and sort this shit out. Oh well fingers crossed for Oregan's F7 player.

remember this is a quick 15 minutes job, I did not even attempt to do anything because of time constraints in my schedule, but that does not mean I won't.

Regarding Oregan, well it remains to be seen if they really deliver the goods.

Cheers.

There is an official Flash Player for the PSP. Just go to your PSP and run the System update.

As for tutorials, there is not much yet, since the player is only almost two days old, but I am sure tutorials will start showing pretty soon. I am planning to write a few myself.

Cheers.

I've noticed you are using 478x272 screen resolution, but you can reach 480x272.

I've just uploaded a simple Flash template for PSP full screen 480x272. You can download from the news area of my site.

So far I've found PSP Flash really slow. It's not a good idea to convert old Flash 6 stuff. Much better to start from scratch with the system's limitations in mind.

But nevertheless, I can't wait to see what people can do with it!

Cheers!
